Paris – Gare de Lyon

Posted: October 26, 2011 in Rick's Trip

The attached photo is of the historic Gare de Lyon train station in Paris. It is from this station that everyone used to start their journeys south – to the Mediterranean coast, to North Africa, to the Middle East and beyond. I think it is fitting that I am using this historic transit point to set out on a trip that, for Go Missions, will touch many of these same areas.

In a little more than 3 hours I will be in Marseille, visiting with the people who hosted our 2011 France GoTeam. I am excited to be able to see, first hand, what they have done – as well as getting an opportunity to speak with some of the people whose lives have been impacted by the (hard) work they did!

I cherish your prayers – more than you could know – and I am confident that they have made the trip so far smooth and enjoyable – with a few “God moments” thrown in. Keep it up!

Rick out.
