October 27 – Marseille, France

Posted: October 27, 2011 in Rick's Trip

What an amazing day! It started out with a beautiful sunrise and breakfast at the home of John and Marion Andrews, my hosts here in Marseille.

My heart was pulled, torn and inspired today! Unfortunately, most of the stories are of a sort that I simply cannot share in a public forum such as this. So, if you are interested, please ask me to tell you when I get home.

There are amazing people laboring largely unknown (the way they like it) in many places that would surprise you. During a payer meeting this morning, emails were read out from places straight out of the current headlines. And, despite what you may hear on CNN and CBC, God is very much alive in these places!

As I write this I am in Marseille airport, awaiting my flights to Malta. Tonight I will be with J&J, good friends of the church who should need no introduction. I will undoubtedly get many more stories that I will be unable to share, but I will do my best to share some sense of the hope they have for the people they are working with.

Off flying again!

Rick out.
